HOW DO I CHOOSE A WEB DESIGNER OR GRAPHIC ARTIST?

Everybody knows an IT guy , we all know someone who knows a web designer, how many web designers and graphic artists are out there?

HUNDREDS – many working out of their bedroom, which is fine but how do you choose the most suitable one for you?

Price is one thing but most importantly is SERVICE.
You might pay top price for a well known top end designer but what use is all that is they take weeks to get anything done?

Price is obviously a big factor though at the end of the day, especially in these tougher times. There's plenty of companies offering dirt cheap web design, anywhere from $199 - $495 so when you hear that our base fee for a basic 6 page site is $695 you might think we're nuts for charging more and essentially pricing ourselves out of that bottom end of the market. But then all these "cheap" packages are mostly for template based sites where as all our websites are custom designed to meet your criteria.

So what is a template website?

You need to ask yourself a question before we explain, If you were spending $500 on a newspaper ad would you want it to look exactly like the ad next to yours in the paper with exception of a few colour changes and your logo? Most people that we pose this question reply "well, of course not", so why would you want your web presence to do this?

Template based web design is essentially the same, as a client you'll be shown an array of similar designs and told that the colours can be changed to fit in with your business theme etc, and while there is nothing wrong with this service at all you'll tend to blend into your competition with a boring website.

The sky is the limit when it comes to web design and your web presence should reflect your business, not just be a carbon copy of 50 other sites.

The other critical factor is to check out their portfolio and see how well their designs will fit into the theme of your business etc

Our pricing is as follows:

Web Design

Basic 6 page custom designed website including 6 pages of content $695

site will include 6 linked pages with page headings of your choice

css and xhtml compliant code to assist in search engine optimisation

gallery of up to 20 images supplied by the client. Any resizing is also included

customer contact form

submission of your sitemap to google

6 months of FREE site analysis after your site is live

This is just our basic package. Pricing is based on the size and complexity of your design so if you're after something more unique please contact us

Graphic Design

Hourly rate for graphic design is $55

This is the standard rate for all design work

Printing service is also available - contact us for a quote

Photography

Base rate for photography is $80p/hr (time on site to be agreed upon prior to shoot date) for all event and promo work
